Ethics and Equity
As the nation grappled with the 2025 Presidential election results, Islay Walden Education Alliance was hard at work planning and hosting New Jersey’s Inaugural Ethics and Equity Conference. Modeled after West Point Military Academy’s State of Ethics in America Conference, the 2025 Ethics and Equity Conference was Islay Walden’s debut. Bringing together the best industry leaders and interfaith advocates from around the state, our focus was on sustainability, capacity, change, and innovation in a changing social and economic society.
Education
Never forgetting the bravery of Ruby Bridges and her family, nor the prophetic legacy of Dr. Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King, Islay Walden believes that economic literacy is the final frontier. An active Member of the African American Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey, we honor the mandate in Deut 6, we teach history, civics, life skills, and economic literacy through the lens of the Black American Experience.
